Ju Huang
Born and raised in Guangzhou, China and lived in Edmonton, Canada since her adulthood, Ju has been inspired by a myriad of Eastern and Western arts, technologies, humanities and artifacts. After obtaining her bachelors degree and practicing as a pharmacist, she eventually devotes herself into the field of architecture for its connection to her untold feelings of being in spaces since childhood. These feelings brought her to NAIT and then the Azrieli School of Architecture, where she completed her Master of Architecture in 2023. Her interest lies in dirt-the primordial land, the brick mud, and the unclean existence-and wish to explore its use and reuse in architecture on a sustainable topography.
